— SPINNING THE BLUES, WUMB, Boston

 One Dime Band acoustic Blues duo have won the 2022 Boston Blues Society Blues challenge in the solo/duo category, were quarterfinalists in the 2023 International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN and most recently won the 2023 Granite State Blues Society challenge returning them to Memphis to compete in the IBC in January 2024 where they advanced to the semi-finals. Formed in 2000, they have gigged extensively as an acoustic duo as well as a 4 piece electric band over the years, playing various venues around Boston, MA Metro. They have released 3 albums - their 3rd album, “Hoodoo & Holy Water” released Feb. of 2020 was included in Blues Music Fan Radio’s Top 20 albums of the year, Brian Owens’ Top 10 albums of the year in Blues Music Magazine and Metronome Magazine’s Top 20 of 2020. They've completed recording their 4th record, to be released in February 2024. One Dime Band is John Brauchler, guitars and Paul Gallucci, vocals & harmonica.
